VMIVME-3801

The IC693BEM341 is a Factory Instrumentation Protocol (FIP) compatible module that belongs to Emerson Automation’s Series 90-30 Programmable Logic controller (PLC) family and was previously manufactured by GE Fanuc Automation. This module is an upgrade over the previous bus controller, as the IC693BEM341 has a data rate of 2.5 MHz. The IC693BEM341 specifically comes with three (3) built-in communication interfaces, two (2) 9-pin D-housing FIP bus connectors, and one (1) RS485 communication interface for software upgrades via firmware modifications. The module is also equipped with six (6) LED status indicators, such as channel 1 module normal, operation, carrier detection; Carrier detection of channel 2; Channel 1 enables transmission and channel 2 enables transmission. The FIB bus controller module is designed to connect to various devices, such as 90-70 series PLCS, via the FIB bus to FIP bus interface; Field control station via field control I/O module via field bus interface unit (BIU); Remote I/O The FIP remote I/O scanner module and common devices using the FIP interface module are disconnected. The IC693BEM341 requires a 90-30 series CPU with version 8.0 or later. For configuration, the module needs to download the valid configuration to the module using a handheld programmer (HHP), Windows programming software IC641CTLxxx Release 2.0 or later, or the FBCLOAD configuration utility. Additional features of the module include the ability to display firmware versions, time stamps of up to 1024 Booleans, and mode 30, including redundancy, slave I/O device management, time stamps, message services, MIPS synchronous exchange, and reception of external configurations.
The IC693BEM341 controller is a FIP bus controller designed and manufactured by GE Fanuc. This part belongs to the GE series 90-30. This particular controller model is an upgrade over the old bus controller and it includes different innovative features.
